Nipa Shah
Nipa Shah has spent almost two decades at a large domestic OEM, providing leadership in technology and procurement activities. Nipa has worked in the Information Technology group at General Motors and has provided oversight for technology project development and support worth millions of dollars.

She has led and implemented business process reengineering and technology improvement activities that have resulted in efficiency and cost savings worth millions of dollars. Nipa has spent more than nine years working with offshore teams in India, training them, creating better communication procedures, and ensuring that project timelines and budgets were met through closely monitoring offshore work activities. Her expertise in providing oversight and training to offshore teams has resulted in business efficiency, tangible cost savings, and process improvements.

Nipa is also a tough negotiator. Utilizing her negotiating skills for negotiating technology contracts worth $650M, Nipa has personally created more than $200 M worth of savings for the company.

In 2008, Nipa launched the offshore and technology consulting arm of Jenesys Group, LLC, leveraging her past nine years of experience working with offshore teams. Nipa and her team members work with small and medium sized businesses to provide expertise in business process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and overall improve a company's bottom-line using offshore resources. Additionally, if a company is not benefiting from it's offshore investment, Nipa and her team provide offshore oversight and management services.

In 2004, Nipa started Jenesys Group, LLC, an online marketing and website development company. The company does business internationally and Nipa is recognized as an expert in online marketing activities such as Search Engine Optimization. In 2008, Nipa and her team jumped into the Social Media Marketing (SMM) arena, developing skills and expertise to help small and medium sized businesses generate traffic and visibility for themselves. By offering industry leading solutions, Jenesys Group, LLC has established a reputation for being a great resource for business owners who are looking for help with their Internet initiatives.

In 2007, Shah launched the Michigan India Chamber of Commerce (www.miicc.com) to foster networking with and within the Asian Indian community. The MIICC is also positioned to facilitate business between Indian and Michigan and Nipa is actively engaged in activities that will create new opportunities in Michigan.

Shah earned her Masters in Information Technology from Lawrence Technological University in Michigan and has an undergraduate degree in Bio Chemistry from the University of Mumbai. She is passionate about mentoring women and girls and mentors four women currently. She lives with her husband and two kids in Novi, Michigan.

Bill Kalmar
William J. Kalmar has extensive business experience, including service with a Fortune 500 bank and the Michigan Quality Council, of which he served as director. He has been a member of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Board of Overseers and a Baldrige examiner. He’s also been named quality professional of the year by the ASQ’s Detroit chapter. Now semiretired, he’s a freelance writer for the Detroit News and several other national publications including the St. Louis Post Dispatch; writes a monthly column for Mature Advisor newspaper and Senior Advocate newspaper; is a member of the USA Today Vacation Panel; he is a mystery shopper for several companies and a frequent presenter and lecturer. Kalmar also does radio voice-overs and competes in duathlons. He and his wife Mary have three grown children with eleven grandchildren. They have been married for 44 years and reside in Lake Orion, Michigan.
